(>_<) The calm before the storm

These last couple of weeks, my mom has been telling me about this big string of sad events that has been hitting my extended family. My dad's uncle just went through a triple bypass... and when he was recovering his wife passed away... other uncles and aunts from that part of the family are going through some very serious illnesses now too...

I don't know any of them very well... so to be honest I'm more sad for my dad and my grandparents... but I dunno... i know it's part of life, yet its so confusing when all of these things happen in such a short span of time. I guess that's why faith is so important.

On a lighter note, school life is going pretty good this year; marks are decent so far, which is good. I just have to get through a big polisci essay this week ! Bleh, its really hard to get motivated about writing a ton of pages on the wonders of Edmund Burke..

Tomorrow, kids from the St Andrews community are going trick or treating in our dorm, so I'm gonna hand out candy from my room (I might even throw together a makeshift costume, which would be VERY VERY rare :p) Hehehehe, I'm gonna buy loads of candy from safeway... it's more fun to buy them than to eat them (^o^)

Power Outage on Wednesday for 4 hours (*o*) !

Ai... felt bad for all the people in my dorm who had midterms on thursdays (like the two in the front, vince and ada). It was a weird night, but in a way it was kinda fun (^_^).
Still... definitely would have sucked to have lived in the 19th century (o_O)
